Former member of Migos passed away at a party

Takeoff, 28-year-old rapper and former member of Migos, passed away after a shooting accident at a party in a bowling alley in Huston, Texas. He and his Uncle Quavo were playing dice when the incident happened. The Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office listed Takeoff’s death as homicide with “penetrating gunshot wounds of head and torso into the arm” as the official cause of death.
The police urged the public to come forward with tips about the incident. It was said that shots were fired due to an argument. However, according to the police, investigation is still ongoing, and there was no indication that the 28-year-old rapper was involved in the dispute.
A 23-year-old male and a 24-year-old woman were also shot during the altercation, but they survived their injuries.
Takeoff’s longtime friend and cousin, Offset, has yet to speak publicly about his death. However, he set his Instagram profile picture to a photo of Takeoff smiling. Various celebrities have paid tribute to Takeoff’s death, including Drake, Cardi B, Gucci Mane, Machine Gun Kelly, and Beyonce.
The rap trio, Migos, has been in the music industry since 2008. In 2013, they gained mainstream recognition with their song, “Versace.” Takeoff was an influential and popular star whose music helped shape the sound of a generation. Many rap artists credit Takeoff with influencing and changing the rap and hip pop industry.
