This school year, Ms. Morales became a part of the DDCUS family. She was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and moved to the U.S. at eight years old. A recent graduate from Florida International University, Ms. Morales earned a B.S. in Biology, a B.A. in Natural and Applied Sciences, and a minor in Chemistry. She now passes on her knowledge to her 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science classes. Ms. Morales has great expectations for a successful and fun 2023-2024 school year.
Do you have any experience as a teacher?
This is my first year teaching!
How has teaching at DDCUS been so far?
So far, teaching has been great here at DDCUS. It has definitely been a process of adaptation, but I love it!
What are some things that surprised you about the school?
What surprised me most about this school is how involved the students are in all of the activities! I have never seen such great student-teacher/administration communication.
What is your biggest goal this year with your students?
I hope to instill curiosity in my students so they can love science as much as I do!
