DDCUS Staff, Staff Writer

The Art Collective, DDCUS’ inaugural celebration of the arts, was a wild success!

The event showcased the talents of students and teachers, through poetry, dance, music, and art. With standing room only, the event was nearly sold out. Its fundraising efforts totaled $4000 in ticket sales and donations. These donations will be donated to the Save the Children Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund.

“Tonight surpassed our expectations. We are floored by the support from our students and staff, and we are grateful the Art Collective was so well received by DDCUS.”

The Art Collective is a marquis event spearheaded by The Capital Letter. Aside from its mission to recognize the talents of DDCUS’ students and faculty, the intention of the event is to harness interdisciplinary collaboration which encourages students to make connections that embody the IB learner profile.

The event also published its own poetry and art publication, The Capital Letter, through Barnes & Noble, and will be available for purchase soon.
